Modern off-grid power systems are no longer limited to small cabins or temporary setups. This project shows how advanced battery storage and inverter technology can support larger residential applications in remote locations.
In a rural area where a suitable grid connection was not available, Callidus Trade designed and built a complete off-grid energy system to supply three homes from one centralized power station.
The system combines 90 kVA of Victron inverter power with 140 kWh of Pytes V12 lithium battery storage, creating a robust three-phase solution capable of delivering dependable electricity day and night.
For many rural properties, farms, estates, holiday parks, and new developments, bringing in grid power can be expensive, time-consuming, or technically challenging. In some cases, grid connection costs can reach tens or even hundreds of thousands of pounds.
For this project, the goal was to create a practical alternative — a complete standalone energy system that could provide stable power for multiple homes without relying on traditional grid infrastructure.
The installation includes:
140 kWh Pytes V12 lithium battery storage
90 kVA Victron inverter power
Three-phase power output
Centralized system supporting three homes
Designed for rural off-grid operation
The Pytes V12 battery system provides the energy storage foundation, while the Victron inverter platform delivers strong and stable three-phase power for daily residential use.
The off-grid system was designed as a complete power station for the three properties. With 140 kWh of battery storage, the system stores energy for use during the night, periods of low generation, or times of higher demand.
This setup gives the homes access to reliable electricity without the need for a conventional grid connection, making it especially suitable for rural and hard-to-connect sites.
The completed system now provides stable off-grid power for all three homes, offering:
Reliable day-and-night electricity
Three-phase power for multi-home residential use
Reduced dependence on costly grid infrastructure
A scalable energy solution for rural properties
This project highlights how Pytes V12 can support demanding off-grid applications where reliability, capacity, and system integration are essential.
By combining Pytes V12 lithium battery storage with a complete Victron inverter solution, this installation demonstrates a powerful alternative for properties where grid access is limited, costly, or unavailable.
For rural homes, farms, estates, holiday parks, and new developments, modern off-grid systems can provide a faster and more flexible path to dependable power.
Pytes is proud to support projects that deliver reliable, independent, and practical energy solutions for customers around the world.
