Pytes Battery empowering OffGrid Ranching: A Home Battery Installation Case Study in Arizona

Mar. 2024

In the vast expanse of Arizona, lies a remote off-gridranching system that required a robust power solution. Tasked with powering a main residence, along with five auxiliary buildings, including heavy-duty water pumps, HVAC systems, and an above-ground swimming pool, the daily energy demand at this site fluctuates around 250 kWh.

Enter the installation of 32 Pytes 48100R batteries and 4 Sol-Ark 15K inverters by New Grid, forming a comprehensive energy system. With 40kW of solar panels, 160kWh of storage, and 48kW inverters, this setup harnesses the abundant Arizona sunlight, generating 160kWh of energy daily. The result? Complete energy independence , shielding the ranch from blackout risks and ensuring uninterrupted operation.

The installation by New Grid was not just about functionality but also about seamless integration into the ranch environment. The outcome is strikingly efficient , with neatly organized components that occupy minimal space. Crucially, the system is mounted on sturdy frameworks, facilitating easy maintenance and allowing for comprehensive monitoring from all angles.

Beyond the technical achievements, this project symbolizes more than just sustainable energy. It represents a commitment to nurturing life on the ranch , creating an environment filled with love and vitality. With a reliable power source in place, both animals and plants can thrive, ensuring a harmonious and fulfilling life on the ranch.

In conclusion, the successful implementation of the home battery installation at this Arizona ranch stands as a testament to the power of innovation and sustainability. Through meticulous planning and expert execution, New Grid has not only provided a reliable energy solution but has also contributed to the preservation of the ranching way of life, ensuring a brighter, greener future for generations to come.
